&lt;p&gt;I tried stripping out the require_once calls myself via cmd, but that just triggered an out of memory error with the zend loader.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;will be nice to overhaul the mvc, it seems a bit heavy handed for just getting pretty urls.&lt;/p&gt;
